Youth Director–Meadows Presbyterian Church–Charlottesville, VA

Meadows, a vibrant PCUSA church with approximately 300 members, is searching for a Youth Director with a passion for inspiring youth (grades 6-12) to explore, and grow in, a living faith as apprentices of Jesus.

Interested candidates will have an apparent “In Christ” presence. Past experiences, certifications, or degrees associated with youth or equivalent ministries are a plus. He or she will possess relational gifts in fostering strong bonds with youth and their families. Capabilities with today’s technology demands are required.

This is a 32 hour/week position reporting directly to the pastor as head of staff. He or she will work closely with the Christian Education Committee, and others when necessary, to maintain, expand and explore programs that support the church’s vision, strategies and goals. Salary and benefits are negotiable.
