We are also known for having great worship, a friendly congregation, and people who want to grow as disciples of Christ. In the aftermath of COVID, when we had to radically re-imagine what it meant to minister to people where they were, we’ve enthusiastically taken this opportunity to build a new vibrant youth ministry without the baggage of “But we’ve always done it this way!” Our many willing volunteers are the raw material of a powerful and effective ministry, and our current programs are successful, but as the Bible says, “without vision the people perish.” We seek a leader called to this work whose passion for youth and children’s ministry can help our volunteers make the most of their gifts.Following Jesus’ example, we work to love and support those on society’s margins, and concentrate our local mission giving on organizations that help people with housing, food insecurity, domestic violence, or other stressors.
