Online Course Title: Mission & Evangelism, Pathways Online Course
Led by: Dr. Adrian Bird, Course Instructor
Course Description: During a seminary class in Christian Mission and Evangelism, one student asked if they were allowed to use the “E” word? Though we frequently hear that the “church is missionary by its very nature,” what exactly does this mean and how may we joyfully claim the “E” word as part of our missional identity?
In this course, participants will go on a wonderful journey of discovery, inquiring into the staggeringly rich realm of mission and evangelism in order to embrace the challenges facing the rapidly changing church and world in the twenty-first century.
Online Course Format: Weekly class meetings via Zoom Technology, along with assignments posted on Blackboard, the seminary’s learning management system (login credentials provided)
Dates: Tuesdays, April 18 – May 23, 2023, 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time
Cost: $150, if register by April 3, 2023. (Note: Beginning April 4, price increases by $25).
