Andhra Christian Theological College, India, has been equipping ministers for the Telugu church for the last 66 years. Its faculty, consisting of Baptist, Church of South India, Lutheran and Methodist ministers, cater to the theological and ministerial formation of the Telugu Protestant communities. The seminary currently serves 925 students, both residential and non-residential, towards multiple forms of ministry. They host our students and faculty on our travel seminars to India as we gratefully host some of their faculty engaged in research. With Telugu as the medium of instruction, it helps the Telugu churchtheologize in the vernacular of the people and is committed to ministering to Dalits, a marginalized community in the Telugu society.

Mighty and merciful God, as the world suffers this pandemic storm and the nations erect barriers, we pray that you unite your people across borders in prayers with a common desire to seek your face. Knowing that your love generates sacrifice and self-control, we pray for open hearts to cease blaming and to build up trust. Please extend your healing hand to those who are ill, and your protective wings to your agents of healing. Help us to use this chance as a time of repentance, of turning away from haughtiness, of treasuring the gift of life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
