In 2012 Sung Hee Chang joined the faculty of Union Presbyterian Seminary as Director of Asian American Ministry Center and Assistant Professor of Christian Education. Previously Chang had served as an educator in several churches in Virginia and North Carolina. Her areas of special interest includes curriculum theory with a particular attention to gender, race, identity, and postcolonial studies, intercultural theological education, ecumenical formation, interreligious education, and Asian theological education. She currently serves on the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Educator Certification Committee.
