Katie Geneva Cannon Scholarship Fund merit scholarship available

The Katie Geneva Cannon Scholarship Fund awards a merit scholarship to an incoming degree-seeking woman of African descent enrolled in the Th.M. program (Richmond campus) or M.Div., M.A.C.E., or dual programs (Richmond and Charlotte campuses) who demonstrates strong academic achievement and shows genuine promise for womanist leadership that is dedicated to transforming the academy, the church, and the community. Scholarships begin at 100% of tuition and include an additional grant for the duration of the student’s academic program at Union. Merit award students are expected to maintain a cumulative 3.0 grade-point average or above throughout the duration of the program. Submit an application form available from our financial aid office. The deadlines are July 1 for the Charlotte campus and March 1 for the Richmond campus.
