Pastor – Lake Waccamaw Presbyterian Church – Lake Waccamaw, NC
We wish to extend an invitation — not simply to apply for a position, but to prayerfully discern whether God may be calling you into ministry with our congregation.
We are a small Presbyterian church with deep roots in our community and a strong sense of who we are: a congregation, grounded in Scripture, shaped by grace, and committed to loving God and neighbor. While we may be modest in size, we believe wholeheartedly that meaningful ministry is not measured by numbers alone, but by faithfulness, relationship, and shared purpose.
Our congregation is seeking a pastor who values thoughtful preaching, pastoral presence, and the joys and challenges of walking alongside people in all seasons of life. We are a church that listens, cares, and shows up for one another — and we are eager to welcome a minister who sees small-church ministry as a place where deep relationships and lasting impact are possible.
We recognize that ministry today requires resilience, creativity, and humility. In return, we offer a congregation that is supportive, engaged, and ready to partner with a pastor who is willing to lead with authenticity and heart. We are open to new ideas, committed to learning, and hopeful about what God is still doing in and through us.
If you feel even a nudge of curiosity, we encourage you to explore further, ask questions, and enter into discernment with us. Whether or not this path ultimately leads to a call, we trust that God honors the faithful work of listening for where the Spirit is leading.
Thank you for your ministry and for the courage it takes to say yes to God’s call.
