Join us online for a panel discussion focusing on the work of chaplains and how they are answering the call to ministry during the pandemic when so many of the traditional means of pastoral care are not available. All are alumni of Union Presbyterian Seminary. Panelists: Rev. Laura Kelly – (M.Div.’16) Chaplain at Cleveland Clinic Hospice and pastor of North Springfield Presbyterian Church in Akron, OH. Rev. Dr. Matthew Sauer (M.Div./M.A.C.E.’96) Co-pastor of the Manitowoc Cooperative Ministry (Manitowoc UCC, First Presbyterian PCUSA), chaplain for the City of Manitowoc Police Department, and a community leader in Manitowoc, WI. Rev. Dr. Lynn McClintock (D.Min.’87) Director of pastoral care at Westminster Canterbury in Richmond, VA. Rev. Dr. Harry Simmons (M.A.’84) Assistant professor of pastoral care at Virginia Union University’s Samuel De Witt Proctor School of Theology and staff chaplain at the Department of Veterans Affairs Hunter Holmes McGuire Medical Center in Richmond, VA.
