BY JOAQUIN ROSS

During my time in Ghana, I have been astounded by the hospitality and kindness that has been shown to us. Everybody, whether we are on the street, in a store, or at a seminary, always greet us with a smile and welcomes us to their country. There is a lot of joy that exudes from every person in Ghana and that in turn has spread to the group including myself. So when we visited Nenyo Harboror  — a home for boys who do not have a parental presence or participation in their home — and met the kids, I felt as though I wanted to also show my joy in being there with them. That led us to play and interact with them.

Union student Joaquin Ross plays with some of the children at Nenyo Harboror.
