From Oct. 1-4 our own Professor of Theology & Ethics, @ehinsonhasty will be in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia, the third largest Islamic banking center in the world. Her topic is “Theological Reflections on Money in an Age of Cryptocurrency.” The World Communion of Reformed Churches sponsors the event with the Council for World Mission. Rev. Dr. Hinson-Hasty will represent the U.S. and North America among global scholars.

Baker and Egyptian Presbyterian Dr. @safwatmarzouk an Associate Pastor of Old Testament @upseminary , is the author of an essay in the book "Challenging Contextuality: Bibles and Biblical Scholarship in Context." In this essay, Dr. Marzouk focuses on the representation of Egypt in liberation theologies and looks into the character of Joseph's identity beyond the binary.
