A Prayer of God’s protection, deliverance, and safety

We thank You Almighty and Most High God for blessing us to dwell in Your secret place, under the shadow of Your wings of protection, in true intimacy with You embraced and sheltered by Your power and Your precious love. We confess and say unto You, O Lord, that You alone are our refuge, our fortress, and our place of protection from dangers and distress. You are also our stronghold and our defense against our enemies. You are the only God whom we serve and only in You will we confidently place our trust.

We trust not in our own abilities, nor in our own wisdom or strength; but we trust in You, O Lord, to deliver us from the snares, traps and the deceptive and
sinful temptations and entanglements of Satan. You are also our deliverer from every sickness, disease and pestilence. We thank You Father for covering us with Your feathers of safety, warmth and love – far out of the reach and grasp of our enemies.

The truth and power of Your Word is our defense, our shield and our protection around us. Because we dwell in Your secret place, we shall not be afraid of the spiritual dangers or demonic tactics and attacks of Satan; nor shall we be afraid of the plots of the wicked (people) that he would influence and use to fight against us. We shall not worry and fret, nor be afraid of unseen and unknown catastrophic disasters or deadly diseases, nor of sudden death or destruction of our lives, or destruction of Your blessings in our lives.

Even though many fall to the temptations and destruction of the enemy on one side, and tens of thousands suffer lack and are afflicted with sickness, disease and other calamities on the other side, none of these evils shall fall upon or come near us. We will see with our eyes the punishment and destruction of the wicked and the unjust, but we shall not partake in their sufferings.

Because we have made You, O Lord, the Most High God, our abode, our dwellings place and our habitation, no evil shall be able to fall upon or touch us, and no sickness or disease can come upon us, or even come near our home or our families.

We thank You Father for commanding Your angels to watch over us and protect us wherever we go. They are encamped in a hedge of protection around us. They shall preserve us, defend us, and keep us safe from all hurt, harm and danger. We thank You for giving us power and authority in Christ Jesus over every demon and devil. Because we are in Christ in heavenly places, even as Christ has all under His feet, we also have all things under our feet. Therefore, even the demonic and satanic principalities, powers and wicked spirits in high places are trampled under our feet.

Because we have set our heart upon You, to love You and serve You with all our heart, our soul, our strength and our might; and, because we reverence You, and worship Your holy, mighty, majestic, precious and glorious name, You shall deliver us from every attack of the enemy, and none of his weapons shall prosper against us. Because we make our habitation and dwelling place in You, O Lord, whenever we are in trouble of any kind, and we need to call upon You for help, You will be right there as always to answer us, and honor us with Your mighty hand of deliverance. You will show us the salvation of the Lord by blessing us with a long, healthy, safe and prosperous life, and giving unto us Your many wondrous blessings. In the Name Lord Jesus, we pray. Amen.
