An ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), Currie served as pastor of congregations in Brenham, Texas, and Kerrville, Texas, before helping to establish the seminary’s Charlotte campus in 2001. He is the author of several articles and four books, the most recent (2008) being The Joy of Ministry.
