Church Business Administration seminars in Richmond 2018

Location:  Early Center on the Richmond campus

Led by:  Experienced practitioners in church business administration

Cost:  $670 for all eight days (two weeks); $335 for four days (one week); $100 for individual seminars – prices include lunch and snacks

Note:  The eight days of seminars meet the core curriculum requirements for certification.  You need not be seeking certification through The Church Network to attend any or all of the seminars.

CEUs:  Each seminar earns 0.7 CEUs – a two-day seminar earns 1.4 CEUs. Four days earn 2.8 and the whole eight days earn 5.6 CEUs. In addition, we will offer a special seminar day on Saturday, July 28, 2018. On this day, you may register for any or all of the 2-hour seminars which fulfill the 0.8 CEUs in required areas (each segment of the day earns 0.2 CEUs) for certification. Note that the schedule for this day is 8:30 a.m. – 5:45 p.m.

For:  Church business administrators, administrative assistants, pastors, treasurers, volunteers – you do not need to be seeking certification to attend. Note: All eight core seminars must be taken to fulfill the requirements for certification.

PLEASE NOTE:  Housing on campus is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  You can sign up for housing when you register.

If you prefer a hotel, we recommend SpringHill Suites (804) 266-9403, or Linden Row (804) 783-7000, both of which may provide a discounted rate if you mention that you are attending an event at Union Presbyterian Seminary.

Note: If you choose to take the electives on July 28, each 2-hour segment is $25; all four are $100. Please register for each segment you would like to take. The cost of lunches and snacks is included in the cost of registration. When you register you will be asked to indicate any food preferences (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, etc.).
