On May 19, 2017, as a part of the John L. Yost Lecture Series, Lutheran Southern Seminary  welcomes Dr. Frances Taylor Gench, the Herbert Worth and Annie H. Jackson Professor of Biblical Interpretation at Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, Virginia.  Dr. Gench’s lecture is titled “When the Bible Raises Your Blood Pressure: Faithful Wrestling with Challenging Texts.”
