I lead a class called “Faith and the Movies” at The Presbyterian Church, Fredericksburg, VA. We have been doing this for about 5-6 years and it is very popular, so I was delighted to see this topic added to your list of education resources. However, unless I have somehow missed something, I was disappointed that you list the recommended movies, but give no short synopsis or review of them–which would be most helpful and time-saving. Otherwise I must look up each one individually. Please add a short one para review or synopsis. Thanks, J. Ford
Mr. Ford, your class sounds very interesting and I hope the material here can be helpful. If you click on the image of a film on the “Faith Review” page, or from the blog post, it will take you to a page that gives you a brief summary of the film. At the bottom of that summary will be something that usually says “Faith Review” and if you click on it, it takes you to the writer’s suggestions for how to use the film. Were you hoping for something more than that in the way of summary? We want to be helpful!
