Clips and Lessons – Easy A and Judging

Olive is a regular high school student with a gay friend who asks her to say that she slept with him so that the other boys will stop making fun of him. She does so, and as rumors quickly spread about her (fake) sexual foray, she embraces the identity of a “slut.” In this lesson for high school youth, the students will watch a clip from Easy A and discuss issues of identity and peer pressure, in dialogue with the account of Jesus and the adulterous woman (John 8:1-11).
