The Richmond campus of Union Presbyterian Seminary is located in the historic Ginter Park section of the City of Richmond, Virginia. This historic neighborhood, which is located on the north side of the city consists of beautifully tree lined streets that serve as the background for homes that represent classical architectural design over the past one hundred fifty years. Upon arrival on the Richmond campus, you will be welcomed by the architectural landmark situated on a 56-acre campus. Walking about the campus you will discover a tranquil space for observation and interaction with nature that stirs theological reflection. On the practical side the campus is conveniently located on the Greater Richmond Transit Authority (GRTC) bus route. The public transportation access affords students the opportunity to move about the city to enjoy the many festivals and events that make this city great while being ecologically responsible.
Housing and Restaurants
Richmond restaurants strive to recognize and operate under the principle found in the words of the writer Piet E. Jones, “...when people are going to go out to eat, it needs to be both good and worth the money.” Near Ginter Park and Bellevue resturants that have received high reviews from patrons include La Casita, the Mill, Dot's Back Inn, and Northside Grille.
