Why have an alumni/ae email account?

This service is a convenient way for our alumni/ae to keep in touch with each other.  Once you activate your alum email account there's no need to worry about updating your email address with the seminary when you change service providers or jobs.

Is there a charge?

Union Presbyterian Seminary’s aumni/ae email is provided free of charge to all alums.

How do I sign up for a UPSEM alum email address?

How do I log into my alumni/ae email account?

Go here and enter the email address and the temporary password provided. On your first sign in, you will be prompted to change the temporary password to something memorable to you. If you are unable to log in, please contact us at alumemail@al.upsem.edu.

Can I forward my emails to another email account (i.e. Gmail, Hotmail)?

Yes, you can. Once you sign in, you will find a list of instructions on how to set up the alumni/ae email account in Outlook, or how to forward emails. Please also visit Google's Help Center.

Can I receive images in my email account?

Yes, you can receive images, photos--it's easy!

What is my mailbox capacity?

 25GBs!  Pretty amazing.

I am using my alumni/ae email account but receiving alumni/ae-related email in another account. Why?

We will not automatically change the email address we already have on file for you. We will keep your previous preferred email address the same unless we hear differently from you.  If you would like your alumni/ae email address to be your preferred email, please let us know. via alumemail@al.upsem.edu.

I have a problem with my alumni/ae email account, where do I go for assistance?

To get started go to Google's Help Center to see if it is an issue that has been documented by Google. Check out Google's list of General Issues and solutions. Look at Google's Known Issues. If you do not find resolution on these sites, please contact alumemail@al.upsem.edu.
