Transcript & Enrollment Verification Requests

Official Union Presbyterian Seminary transcripts and e-transcripts are created as a non-reproducible document and bear the seal of the institution. Transcripts list grades for the courses a student has taken and the degree program in which the student was enrolled. A key to the grading system in use at the time of a student’s enrollment appears on the reverse of the transcript.  Transcripts cite date of graduation if a student has met all academic and administrative requirements for her or his degree program.

Transcripts are issued only when the student’s financial obligations to UPSem have been met, as certified by the Business Office. UPSem does not provide or send copies of student transcripts from other institutions.  Transcripts for alumni are issued only when financial obligations to UPSem have been met, as certified by the Business Office.

Current Student Enrollment Verification

Current students may also request enrollment verifications using the Transcript and Enrollment Verification Request Form or SONIS. In SONIS, simply write in the comment area that you desire enrollment verification rather than a transcript. You can also find paper forms for enrollment verification or transcripts outside the Registrar’s Office.

Current Student Transcript Requests

Current students may request in writing that the Registrar’s Office send an academic transcript to designated persons or institutions at no charge. Paper requests using the Transcript and Enrollment Verification Request Form must bear a valid student signature. Ordinarily, student records are mailed within one week of receipt of such requests. Additional time may be needed at busy times of year.

Current students may also request transcripts through SONIS or The National Student Clearinghouse. Transcripts ordered through SONIS or in person at the Office of the Registrar are free for all currently enrolled students. Transcripts ordered through The National Student Clearinghouse can be printed as either a paper or e-transcript. The National Student Clearinghouse charges a processing fee of between $2.25 and $3.25 depending on your selections. E-transcripts can only be ordered through The National Student Clearinghouse. The most current security available is used protect your credit card and personal information.

Alumni/ae Transcript Requests Online through the National Student Clearinghouse

Union Presbyterian Seminary uses The National Student Clearinghouse as its trusted agent for processing online transcript requests. This process is completely secure. You will pay for your transcript via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover). The most current security available is used protect your credit card and personal information.

Transcripts cost $5.00 and an additional $2.25 to $3.25 processing fee for each recipient (transcript addressee) is charged by The National Student Clearinghouse. This cost is determined by your particular selections. You can choose to order paper or e-transcripts. Either way, the person ordering the transcript must provide a valid email or physical address where the transcript is to be sent. Electronic Transcript Delivery

Union Presbyterian Seminary is also partnering with The National Student Clearinghouse to deliver academic transcripts electronically. This partnership allows UPSem to provide official transcripts to network recipients or outside the network to any third party anywhere in the world at anytime.

Alumni Transcript Requests on Paper

Alumni/ae can also use the Transcript and Enrollment Verification Form to order transcripts. If you do so, it must be signed and accompanied by a check or money order. Credit cards cannot be processed in the Office of the Registrar. No transcript will be processed until payment is received by the Registrar’s Office.
