Fox has provided guidance and direction to students doing supervised ministry and seeking placement in congregations since 1989. In 2005, she joined the full-time faculty of Union Presbyterian Seminary as assistant professor of supervised ministry. She teaches supervised ministry integrative classes, provides continuing education to supervisors, and works with congregations to enhance ecumenical opportunities for supervised ministry. An ordained minister, her areas of special interest include first call issues, vocational assessment, and the use of technology in teaching and ministry. Her publications include Here I Am, Lord, Now What?, a Handbook on Legal Issues in Theological Field Education co-edited with Judith Guy, and articles and book reviews in Interpretation and Reflective Practice: Formation and Supervision in Ministry.
